On the second day of our trip in Paris we walked along la Seine, bought a few books and posters at les Bouquinistes and visited le musée de l'Orangerie, in which there was a temporary exhibition of Claude Monet's Nymphéas. We were not allowed to take pictures in this part of the museum but it was a real pleasure for the eyes to see some Monet's masterpieces.

I should apply to work here in a year or two! (how nice is it to have an office in front of La Seine?)

Did I mention I really enjoyed this museum? Here are a few of my favorites paintings because, you know, I photographed almost every paintings in the museum...

Argenteuil (Claude Monet)

La Jeune Anglaise (Chaïm Soutine)

Nature morte, poire et pommes vertes (Paul Cézanne)

La Carriole du Père Junier and details of La Noce (Rousseau) : the last is one of my all-time favorites.
Love, ♥
