paris in may : part iv (versailles)

This photo overload is another batch of clichés of my trip in Paris, in May last year. I can't help but share the day I spent at Versailles because it was so far my favorite place. Of course, I visited the bedroom of Marie-Antoinette - which was jam-packed with tourists - but I snapped a few good pictures of her amazing canopy bed and a close up of the beautiful fabric that cover almost every inch of the room. Many other rooms of the palace were also breathtaking : I took more than 500 photos here. After a quick lunch, we walked through the gardens of Versailles to Le Petit Trianon, and it was like we were in the countryside with sheeps and everything. It's a nice but strange feeling to be surrounded by such magnificence.

La suite de mon voyage à Paris en photos, un peu en retard forcément, mais j'ai tellement adoré Versailles qu'il m'était impossible de ne pas partager quelques clichés que j'ai fait là-bas. J'ai visité la chambre de Marie-Antoinette, qui est splendide mais très achalandée, ainsi que plusieurs autres pièces du château qui sont aussi à couper le souffle. La preuve, j'ai pris plus de 500 photos rien qu'à l'intérieur. Ensuite, nous avons traversé les jardins jusqu'au Petit Trianon. Nous sommes transportés dans la campagne au coeur de Paris, avec des moutons et pleins de petits bâtiments. Versailles est un endroit envoûtant et extrêmement spécial - sans aucun doute mon endroit préféré parmi tout ce que j'ai pu voir de Paris.
