around here

I think Dame Nature is playing yo-yo. From the extreme -40 degrees celcius we got last week, now it's 5 outside and the snow is melting. We can even see the (yellow) grass in front of our basement. I can't remember if it did happen in the past years but it's kind of unusual to wear a tiny coat on February, usually called "the coldest month of the year".

Lately I've been organizing my stamps collection, cooking stuff with apples, enjoying le Carnaval de Québec by night and reading a new book. I also been loving : tomato soup with sunflower seeds, homework dates at the coffee shop, Tool music (especially this song), getting up early to drink my coffee not-in-a-hurry and work on this blog, and strawberry-rhubarb yogurt with granola.

Oh and happy valentine day! Plenty of love from your family and friends and your douce moitié. And plenty of cinnamon heart candies, too.
